We condemn in the strongest terms the repeated vile attacks against our holy book, the Quran, in Copenhagen today (24 July).

 

 

 

The Danish authorities must act in line with their international responsibilities and take the necessary measures to prevent these outrageous acts that incite hatred against the religion of Islam and billions of its believers.

We condemn in the strongest terms the vile attack targeting our holy book, the Quran, and our glorious flag in Denmark in the afternoon of 24 March.

Giving permission to this heinous act, which is a hate crime, under the guise of freedom of expression is completely unacceptable.

This act, which was carried out in Ramadan, has once again clearly revealed that Islamophobia, discrimination and xenophobia have reached an alarming level in Europe and that no lessons have been learned from the past.

The Danish authorities were informed that we strongly condemn and protest this act.

 

 

 

 

We call on Danish authorities to take necessary actions against the perpetrators of this hate crime and to take concrete measures in order to prevent such provocations which target social peace and culture of peaceful coexistence.

We condemn in the strongest possible terms the vile attack on our holy book, the Quran, in Sweden today (21 January), despite our repeated warnings earlier. Permitting this anti-Islam act, which targets Muslims and insults our sacred values, under the guise of “freedom of expression” is completely unacceptable. This is an outright hate crime.

This despicable act is yet another example of the alarming level that Islamophobia and, racist and discriminatory movements have reached in Europe.

We call on Swedish authorities to take necessary measures against the perpetrators of this hate crime; invite all countries as well as international organizations to take concrete steps in solidarity against Islamophobia.
